Big Changes!

I tried this Kensie dress on the other day at 1/2 of 1/2 Name Brand Clothing, but I didn't end up buying it. It was only $12, but to a girl who's used to $2.00 thrift store prices, that's a good chunk of cash! heh. I do love it, however, and I slightly regret not snatching it up. It would be perfect for these HOT, MUGGY, HUMID days that are ahead of me. Summer is my MOST LEASTEST FAVORITE... I kind of hate it.

In other news, you can expect some big changes to this blog over the next 8 months or so. This fashion blog is destined to morph slowly (oh, so slowly!) into a super hip and fun and cool MATERNITY Fashion Blog- woo woo! I am preggo with my second child, and I want to use this place (as I grow) to show women that Maternity can be funky and fashionable too- and you can create fresh looks on a low budget just as easily as you can when you're not expecting! Maternity fashion is just so... BLAH... and GROSS (in my opinion), so keep your eyes peeled for ways to accommodate a growing belly without running into your nearest overpriced Maternity store.

Current readers- don't worry, you won't be alienated over the next few months- I hope to create looks that are fashionable and transferable to those who aren't expecting as well. And if you know of any mommas out there, let them know about this site! Fashion doesn't have to be thrown by the wayside just because your waist line is expanding.

Pregnancy is the PERFECT time to celebrate who you are and what you love!

Oh Emery, thank goodness you're going to feature maternity ideas. I'm desperate and basically broke, so I need help! I have stuff from the first pregnancy, but it's pretty basic and not all that cute or fun, so I'm looking forward to what you're able to do! Thanks whole-heartedly!

Oh my gosh I bought a dress JUST LIKE THAT last week... It might even be the same brand.. not sure. WHoo! Can't wait to see the maternity EMERY! I managed to stay pretty hip (I thought) during my pregnancy- but looking back there was a LOT of jersey cotton and um...leggings. Hee!

I am so excited to see your pregnant looks on here as the months go by. Actually, one of my first thoughts after I read you were pregnant at your other blog (after the initial "I'm so happy for her, praise the Lord!" of course) was "ooh, I wonder what sort of maternity outfits she will come up with?" :)
